<\/p>\n

Between You and I, the result of a collaboration between Highland Park and Swedish chef Bj\u00f6rn Frantz\u00e9n, is not just a 16-year-old single malt, but an invitation to a personal experience, in which tasting becomes a silent dialogue between memory, emotion and senses.<\/p>\n

A geography of character<\/h4>\n

In the Orkney archipelago, where the wind and the sea shape not only the landscape, but also the spirit of the place, Highland Park continues its story that began more than two centuries ago. It is a distillery that has never separated the Scottish tradition from the Nordic heritage, but has let them coexist, discreetly, in each bottle. <\/p>\n

This dual identity becomes the starting point for Between You and I. The choice of Bj\u00f6rn Frantz\u00e9n as a partner is not accidental: he is a creator who works with the same precision and sensitivity, transforming ingredients into experiences. In his hands, gastronomy becomes a form of introspection \u2014 and whiskey, a natural extension of this philosophy. <\/p>\n

Swedish Oak and a New Direction<\/h4>\n

For the first time in the history of the distillery, Highland Park introduces virgin Swedish oak barrels into the maturation process. It is a brave gesture, but perfectly coherent in the context of collaboration \u2014 a subtle bridge between Scotland and Scandinavia. <\/p>\n

These barrels join the traditional European and American oak barrels, previously used for sherry and bourbon, creating a layered balance. The result is a 16-year-old single malt with a velvety texture and complexity that does not seek to impress with intensity, but with clarity and finesse. <\/p>\n

No rules, no imposed grades<\/h4>\n

Perhaps the most surprising gesture of this project is the absence of official tasting notes. In a world where every flavor is cataloged and explained, Highland Park and Frantz\u00e9n choose to leave room for personal interpretation. <\/p>\n
